Tea and Talk Thursdays - A Friendly Coffee Group in Victoria, BC

Looking for a welcoming coffee group in Victoria, BC? 

Come join us for Tea and Talk Thursdays! 

Tea and Talk Thursdays is a casual, friendly Victoria coffee meetup designed for fostering community connections, good conversation, and new relationships. We meet every other Thursday at the James Bay Coffee House on Simcoe Street, beside Thrifty Foods, for coffee, conversation, and good company. 

Come for the Coffee, Stay for the Conversation

There’s no agenda, no formal networking, and no pressure to make connections. We simply gather, grab a coffee, and enjoy engaging conversations. And while we don't aim to network formally, community connections and friendships often blossom naturally in our relaxed and welcoming environment. 

You'll encounter a mix of familiar faces and new ones at our gatherings. Some attendees live right here in James Bay, while others come from various neighbourhoods around Victoria, and occasionally we welcome visitors from other parts of Canada and beyond who are spending time in our beautiful city. 

Whether you've called Victoria home for years, are new to the city, visiting for a while, or simply enjoy meeting interesting people over coffee, you're more than welcome to join us. 

Everyone is Welcome

Tea and Talk Thursdays is open to all ages and backgrounds. You don’t need to know anyone beforehand, and you certainly don’t have to arrive with a friend. Many newcomers find themselves quickly immersed in the conversation, feeling at home in this community. 

It’s simply a chance to meet people in Victoria, enjoy a coffee, and feel a little more connected to your community.

James Bay Coffee House Simcoe Street, James Bay, Victoria, BC (Located beside Thrifty Foods in the former Starbucks location.) 

Every other Thursday Please check the event listing for the upcoming date and time. 

Cost: Free to attend. We simply ask that you purchase a coffee, tea, or something from the café to support our wonderful local coffee shop.
